down to my very last wits

diminishing till only hope remains.

Death's curse

defeated in the face of eternity.

Today is a day of thankful remembrance for us.

because of your willingness to be pierced in order to atone for our sins.

We are filled to the brim with excitement as we sing.

in light of your remarkable rise,

resurrection from death's grave to a new life.

For the promise of paradise, I am grateful.

as well as your gracious offer of eternal life for everyone
