Prayer For Loss Of Mother
Dear Father,
People say that she was strong and supportive. She also gave me love and made me happy. It didn't matter how old she got; she was always kind and caring, even when she was old. My friend was a great mother to me. To you, she was an important person. Only a little bit could I learn about her. You knew her inside out. During the storm of grief that I'm going through, You have given her a warm hug and gently called her home. It's been quiet and empty here since she died, but she will still hear celebrations and be called into God's grace. Now that I've made my memories into treasures, I'll value, keep, and plant them. I know that she's taken all her riches, left the chaff, and worn the gold! As time goes on, I'll forget the hurt and pain she went through. For now, she's free, restored, and peaceful, in your arms for ever. I'll let each bulb, each bud, and each bloom tell me how much you love me. When your kingdom comes, I'll wait for it. You'll be king for ever. Thanks for taking care of my mom. We rest in your arms, safe and sound, as children.
