O Lord,
The trust, loyalty, closeness, exclusivity, and being oneness of our one tie has been severed. We can't go back in time and remove the pain, the rage, the remorse, the betrayal that happened in the past. Because of this, we come to you with the knowledge that you Jesus took these things to the cross for us. Forgiveness, salvation, and cleansing are all possible because of your amazing grace. Let us begin a fresh journey of restoration, so that you could forge a new trusting relationship with us. This is a link that is more beautiful because of its imperfections, stronger because of its repair, and wider because of forgiveness. When we are broken, we need you Jesus in the middle of our brokenness. We can't do this on our own Amen.
